This is the 2nd part of our anniversary trip after our time in Vancouver for the long road trip back home . click here to see pt. 1 if you missed it
After we left Vancouver city we drove up to Hope BC where Bob was born and then up to Quesnel.
Night 15 we stayed at the Alamo campground in Quesnel, the campground was almost empty, the spots were large grassy spots with nice trees
We drove to Diamond Island near Alexandria BC, Bob’s family owned and lived on the island (it was undeveloped no electricity or water) when he was a baby until he was 5
Night 16 we stayed at Gold Trail RV Park, it was a nice place but there were a lot of mosquitoes.
In Osoyoos we crossed back into the U.S.A. it was the smallest border crossing.
Night 17 we stayed at Margies RV park, narrow neighborhood to get to it but we had a nice grassy spot with great views of the countryside
Night 18 we stayed at Rivers Edge resort in Montana, beautiful campground with nice spots and fantastic sunset views.
Night 19 we stayed at Countryside RV park it was nice but very full
Night 20 & 21 we stayed at West Yellowstone KOA, and we finally did some laundry.
We explored Yellowstone it was so beautiful and so much to see, we drove a lot but we also walked a lot and I had broken my foot right before our trip so I had to clomp around Yellowstone in a boot.
Night 22 we stayed at Prune Creek campground, the spots were tight and it was very hilly, pretty quiet wooded spots but the restrooms were not very nice.
Night 23 we stayed at Rapid City KOA nice gravel pull through spots with grass but not very big and no large trees
Night 24 we stayed at the KOA Belvidere East, almost empty campground
Night 25 we stayed at Sioux Fall KOA, it was very full but a nice place
Night 26 we stayed at St. Joseph Beacon RV, not a nice place at all felt like it was in a very unsafe area, bathrooms were moldy and the spots were horrible
Night 27 we stayed at Whittington Woods, very nice large spots
